Question Answered
My Optoma EP723 projector will not power up and by power up, I mean when it's plugged in, the orange light flashes and the bulb doesn't turn on. What should I do? Asked by Alan B. On Nov 21, 2024
There are a few reasons why the orange indicator light on your projector is flashing. Firstly, the lamp has reached the end of its life, or the lamp moved, or wasn't installed properly. Try re-installing the lamp or check if the lamp has damages or wear and tear. If the lamp is damaged, then it needs to be replaced. Secondly, it may be a power issue, so ensure the power cord is securely connected and the electrical outlet is functional. Try testing out different outlets to rule out any external power issues. If all else fails, try resetting the projector. You can call our customer support: 1-888-785-2677 to be guided through your projector's reset process. Additionally, check your other projector's manual for the indicator lights and their meanings. If there's still a problem after the reset, then you may have to contact Optoma's support team.
