Question Answered
Can you replace the bare bulb without the housing? Asked by Karsten S. On Apr 06, 2025
Yes, you can replace the bare bulb or only the bulb with the housing. Here are the steps: To install a projector lamp with the housing, make sure the projector is unplugged and is sitting on a flat surface. Loosen the screw that holds the projector lamp module cover in place and remove the panel. Unplug the old projector lamp and remove it from the projector. To install a bare projector bulb, follow steps 1-2 above and remove the retaining clip holding the old lamp in place. Unscrew the screws connected to the bare projector bulb. Replace the old lamp with a brand new replacement bulb and fasten the clip. Tighten the screws.
